Made, Not Permitted.
A film went live today. No studio. No permission. No dialogue — not a single word. Just a thing built by hand and put in front of you.
The old world asked a different question first: who allowed you to make this? Which studio, which crew, which budget, whose blessing. Pedigree, applied to creation — permission as the price of admission.
The new world doesn’t announce the work. It shows it. You don’t need a gatekeeper’s yes to build a thing; you need the thing to be good enough that it answers for itself. The trailer is the receipt — not a promise that we could, the proof that we did.
Proof over pedigree is not only a courtroom rule. It is how you build anything worth building. Make it yourself, and let the work do the arguing.
You don’t announce the work. You show it.
